BIRTHDAY WEEKEND

SNOWSHOE PATH

You can see my snowshoe tracks in the snow, as I'm on my way to Chipmunk Hill, via mom's backyard...snow is so deep you can barely make out the fireplace!
SNOWBANKS IN MOM'S BACKYARD

This certainly brought back the "good ole days" of our childhood...making snow-angels, building snowforts and igloos, bombarding unsuspecting passing motorists with snowball volleys, ice skating on Johnson's pond, warming-up with mugs of hot cocoa and graham crackers!!  A real winter wonderland in the great Northeast!

MOM'S BACKYARD

I decided to spend my birthday weekend this year with the one who brought me into this world, so dear ole mom was the recipient of a surprise visit the eve of Friday, March 6!  I spent an idyllic restful weekend and snowshoed thru the backyard to one of our favorite stomping grounds as kids, "Chipmunk Hill"!  Above is pic of mom's backyard, with her blessed mother grotto just peeking out of the snowdrifts.
