Mother's Day 2015 - We Are Blessed

Do we even know how truly blessed we really are? We just got to celebrate the greatest Mother's Day with our spry, Energizer Bunny of a mother.  And there she is in her new super casual Sunday best with her clip-on, flip-up aviators taking a day off from mowing her lawn so we can attend mass at Auriesville! She's 91!  Hilarious!

I don't even know where to start the reminiscing about our little lark in the merry, merry month of May. We did so much, it seemed like we were up to something every waking moment! Walks, talks, bike rides, horseshoes, bocce ball, coffee on the front steps, deer in the thicket, Teci burgers, more walks and talks, homemade birthday cake frosting, endless trips to Sears for bathrobes and pajamas ("they must be summer weight, short sleeved and have a pocket!" came the decree from Princess Jodi), Russo's pizza, strolling around Auriesville, Cousin Min, Bob picking up and dropping off everybody everywhere, badminton, Mom's car stalling in traffic, Jodi freaking out about the car, Mom freaking out about everything, planting flowers, those nasty moles, picking violets and cowsills, the crazy ass beaver dam, Sawyer Fredericks, seeing the dead fox, barbecues at Bob's, the whole "My Little Princess Jodi" saga and on and on. How did we do it all?  I guess we must take after dear old Winnie after all. Hahaha...

It really was so much fun and it reminded me how we need to do it more often.  We both tend to get caught up in our "troubles" and forget that we need more laughter, happiness and Extravaganzas in our lives! I think we need to start planning our next move right now, don't you agree?  No excuses, no procrastination. A Columbus Day Extravaganza perhaps?  Something to think about. In the meantime, enjoy these snaps from Mother's Day 2015.  I had the best time ever, hope you did too!
